(Software) Commissioning Engineer

This is what you will do
FAT testing in the Netherlands.
Control mechanical and electrical work on site.
Tuning of software configurations and uploading customer-specific software at customer sites.
Perform partial testing and co-responsible for Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and delivery.
Work intensively with operators, project managers and environmental parties on site.
Every day is different, but to give you a good idea, we’d like to show you what a typical workday looks like!
What your day looks like
| 07:30 | Start at the office: designing and preparing the software/configuration |
| 09:00 | Checking cabling and adjusting hardware |
| 11:00 | Configuration of PLC/SCADA and other control software |
| 12:30 | Lunch break |
| 13:00 | On-site deployment and testing |
| 15:30 | SAT tutoring and technical issue resolution |
| 17:00 | Reporting, coordination with the team and preparations for the next day |
| 18:00 | Rounding out the day – sometimes followed by dinner or brief sightseeing with colleagues |

What do you bring?
We are looking for an experienced engineer who will go above and beyond:
- HBO degree (or MBO with sufficient experience) in Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or Control Engineering.
- Interest in industrial automation.
- Excellent command of Dutch and English.
- Willingness and enthusiasm to travel internationally (long term).
